Register your own personal website:

There will be documentary or other evidence (printouts ­ screen dumps) that the candidate has registered and set up a website.

There will be documentary or other evidence (printouts ­ screen dumps) that the candidate has correctly configured a FTP application to upload files to their website.

There is evidence that candidates have constructed 2 web documents ­ one called index.htm and one called pageone.htm (or html).

A maximum of 2 errors in layout will be permitted for each document (i.e. missed line breaks, incorrect type size etc).

A maximum of 3 typing errors will be permitted (i.e. spelling, grammar, punctuation etc.)

Answers may include correct, or attempted, hierarchical indentation of the code. An explanation of why the files must occupy the same folder may be given

There will be no evidence of additional, superfluous code that might indicate the use of authoring software.

A brief summary must be provided that lists or describes the steps involved in uploading the files using FTP. A bulleted or numbered list of steps is acceptable.

A short report will:

Identify the Copyright Act as the relevant legislation. Clearly identify the features of the Act with specific reference to images, sounds and video.

Reports will be presented in report format with front, contents and introduction pages.

There will be a Bibliography at the end
