Don Siegelman - Governor of Alabama
Lieutenant Governor Don Siegelman was born on February 24, 1946 in Mobile, Alabama. and graduated from the University of Alabama. In 1972, he received his law degree from the Georgetown University School of Law and continued his education at Oxford University. was first elected to public office in 1978 as Secretary of State and re-elected to the same office in 1982. In 1986, Governor Siegelman was elected Attorney General. He is a practicing attorney, a Democrat, and is married to the former Lori Allen of Birmingham. They are the parents of two children: Dana and Joseph.
